We are sure that you will
love your chimenea and accessories but if you change your mind the following
regulations give consumers and sellers certain rights and protection
when they shop for goods 'at a distance':
Distance Selling Regulations
2000
Under the Distance
Selling Regulations as set out by the Office of Fair Trading, UK customers
have the right to cancel their order at any time from placing the order
until seven working days after the customer receives the order. This
does not apply to items that have been made to your specification or
cost of carriage.
To conform with
the Regulations a customer who wishes to cancel an order must notify
us in writing (by 1st class post), fax or e-mail. A telephone call is
not sufficient:

Please
ensure you include your name, address and contact telephone number.
You
must return the goods to us at your expense, in the original condition
and packaging. Please note that we cannot be held liable for any damage
during transit from you, therefore we recommend that you insure the
goods (most couriers offer a standard insurance included in the cost
of shipping so you just need to ensure that it covers the cost of the
item you are returning). If we receive damaged goods we will not be
able to refund the cost of the goods to you. Providing that the goods
are received in good condition we will refund the cost of the goods
within 30 days by the original payment method.
When
we receive your written cancellation notice we will contact you regarding
the return of the goods.
This
does not affect your statutory rights. |
